My role was to help teams move from compelling ideas to defensible funding propositions by clarifying priorities, aligning coalitions, and designing structures that could withstand funder and board-level scrutiny.

Addressing translational risk before clinical implementation

This work focused on promising diagnostics and innovations that faced barriers to adoption despite technical merit.

I worked with teams to identify where implementation risk was accumulating and to re-sequence translational pathways so that clinical fit, governance, and delivery constraints were addressed early.

Aligning expertise across multi-partner initiatives

I supported leaders to clarify roles, align decision-making authority, and create operating structures that allowed diverse expertise to translate into coordinated action.

This work focused on understanding system-level patterns of clinical activity before cancer diagnosis to reveal opportunities for earlier detection.

I co-led a linked-data analysis that identified a six-month diagnostic window in primary care, informing national discussions on optimising investigation pathways for sarcoma.
